Agreement

By installing or using SorteroAI you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.

Trader / operator

SorteroAI is offered under the trade name SorteroAI, operated by Andrei
Barannikov (individual developer).

Service

SorteroAI helps organize Gmail with labels and filters. Features may change; we aim to keep sorting behavior predictable and documented in-app.

When Sort mail automatically is enabled, the app may label matching mail
without per-message approval. Sorting uses fixed rules, not machine
learning. Mitigations include: textual explanations after each run, a
72-hour Undo for the last Organize, override learning when you remove
labels in Gmail, a default bulk-confirm step for large runs (>200 labels),
and stricter gates for new conditional categories. Details are in our
Privacy Policy (section How sorting decisions are made)
and algorithm spec §6.3.2. Refund and liability
terms below are unchanged.

Google account

You must use a Google account you are authorized to use. You are responsible for OAuth permissions you grant. Google’s terms apply to Gmail access.

Paid app & refunds (EU/UK consumers)

SorteroAI can be used in Free Standard Mode after the trial ends. Free Standard
Mode allows standard folder creation and sorting into standard folders only.

Premium access may be unlocked through:

A Google Play subscription.
A Google Play one-time lifetime purchase.
A local 7-day trial that starts after first Gmail setup and does not require
a payment method.

If Premium access ends, paid-only features are disabled immediately. SorteroAI
may show a cleanup grace warning before removing app-created non-standard Gmail
labels and filters. We never delete your messages, personal Gmail labels, or
standard SorteroAI labels as part of paid-access cleanup.

If you purchase SorteroAI on Google Play:

EU (Consumer Rights Directive): You may have a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital purchases, unless you requested immediate performance and acknowledged loss of withdrawal right where applicable under local law.
UK (Consumer Contracts Regulations): Similar 14-day cancellation rights may apply for distance contracts.
Refund requests for Play purchases are handled through Google Play’s refund process; contact support@sorteroai.app for help.

Acceptable use

Do not use the app to violate law, others’ rights, or Google’s API policies.

Disclaimer

SorteroAI is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted Gmail access or perfect sorting. You are responsible for reviewing important mail.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim (or zero for free builds). We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages except where law forbids exclusion.

Termination

You may stop using the app anytime by uninstalling and deleting app data. We may suspend access if you breach these terms.

Governing law

Unless mandatory local consumer law in your country of residence requires
otherwise, these terms are governed by the laws of Spain. For business
disputes between you and the operator, the courts of Spain have jurisdiction.
Consumers in the EU, UK, or other jurisdictions retain any non-waivable rights
under their local laws.
